You could be the 2008 National Stocker Operator of the year. Here's some additional information regarding the award selection process.
Three categories to enter:
1. Summer grazing program
2. Fall/winter forage program
3. Backgrounder/drylot
Entries will be judged by an independent panel and based on the following criteria:
General information, nutrition, health, procurement, future goals, risk management/marketing, profitability metrics and going above and beyond.
2008 National Stocker Award nomination forms will be available on February 1, 2008. Be sure to check back at that time to download your form.
