Mike Pearson takes a look at the regulations around dicamba applications and how they could be changing.

Dicamba was approved for use in 1967 both in agriculture and other uses.

The use during the growing season was not common.

Now, the EPA is looking at the application of Dicamba on growing crops such as cotton and soybeans.

The use of dicamba and the misuse has caused the chemical label to be examined a few times over the years.

XtendiMax-- the label would limit when it is applied to soybean fields and could be changed to no application after June 12.

Cotton growers will also see changes in Dicamba use. Although it will still be allowed to be applied on top but not after July 30 and the limit for use was cut in half from 88 to 44.
